The Internet was created to learn from, grow and to share globally not just with a small circle of friends. MySpace was proof of that when Tom had 1 million friends. What if Tom had patented the term “friends” and how when a user makes a request of another to belong to a group, well then, Tom would be really happy. Who knows, maybe there is a patent and that’s why Google used Circles instead since it really is a circle jerk of weirdos you may or may not know. Zynga filed a patent for With Friends so I can’t help but wonder if there is an Internet technology patent for Friends or when one will show up. I mean who was first to market this premise? AOL? And does it matter? No it doesn’t. With the new sites coming out trying to be socially acceptable and connecting you see the power of Facebook. And here’s the problem. I like creating many logins and being anonymous or creating interests per interest! For instance if I’m on a movie site do I really want to share with the world that I love Romance Comedies? Maybe I prefer to have my forward facing profile show that I’m an all Action type of dude or an Indie movie freak. See Facebook forces me to my own stereotype where online I can have so many. I don’t want to be tied to ONE login where everyone can see everything about me. That’s where Facebook FAILS along with other sites. To this day I’m still waiting for the global release of Diaspora. See as all these sites sit and build, grow, share, other sites sit just watching. I mean Internet people just play and learn -online -all -the -time. We work in the industry watching, waiting, and we become richer just creating sites for others or taking the 10 minutes to build a site or fan page or twitter page. Then you have the kids that come in and just love to learn, but don’t know what to do so they just share with their other friends trying to collect people like money, but on other people’s sites.

Look closely at pinterest.com. You need to log in with a 3rd party network. They don’t trust themselves enough. As much as I love OpenID it’s a failure when users NEED Facebook because where there’s a need there’s a want for freedom from social networks and the ability to one day become ANONYMOUS. And that’s where the next site will succeed. You see, one day Facebook will die, just like MySpace. The interest or Pinterest will go somewhere else because we’re clueless. We’re like penguins all jumping into the water just because one did and we belong to these flocks because we just need to know why because, yes, they are bored and possibly jobless or in the bathroom taking a dump next to the VP of their company who is clicking away liking statuses and checking out girls and stocks and boys and links.

So what would it take to get the next killer site?

Fun?
Events?
Calendars?
Sharing?

or Control of Anonymity between networks?

I mean do you really want to like something that you don’t want your boss to find out about?! Hmmm? Wouldn’t you love to follow or STALK the shit out of your bosses activities and find out what Rich People DO?! Hmm? Fuck  yes. See it’s bad enough that all these kids are on Instagram because it’s like a pedophiles dream. I had to remove myself because it was some porn porno shit these rich people’s kids are doing and way to easy to access their profile photos, close ups of omg everything and just search for #instaboobs to start the scavenger hunt for porn or #beiber to find all the look alikes and girls and all of a sudden you see that this is a bad idea altogether because it’s like a smorgasbord of neophytes just putting themselves online and they have SHITLOADS of followers, and they are YOUNG. But no one cares. Right? Wrong.  The next site will allow users to build profiles specific and authenticate properly. Because right about now, the social graph is become a porn graph of under the cover information where everyone thinks they are Rihanna because they have’t been formally educated on social education. Hopefully they’ll start teaching this in school or parents will start -parenting.

So when Facebook dies, which should be soon as consumers get bored with their 18 friends that post on their page and want to fell like they are “superstars” I’m hoping you keep some information on Google. Make sure you to keep your photos in multiple locations, Picasa is awesome. Make sure to start a Tumblr to keep your Instagram and make sure to email your contacts to yourself or keep a list. Because here’s one thing rich people do for sure, they fuck things up because with money comes distractions, a lot of distractions regardless of how much someone says they are going to be involved. If Facebook dies, the next social graph will go back to creating log ins because it BLOWS to give Facebook all your identifiable information only to some day possibly losing it all. And if Facebook dies, for about 3 weeks everyone will be upset, then they’ll realize they have to go find a job.

So my friend starts talking to me about their web development and how simple it is. It actually isn’t WordPress is still better and free. Then he mentions that it comes with a built in ecommerce thingamajig. I love THINGAMAJIGS!! I tell thim let’s press the buttons!! Weeeee!! This is awesome. Inside my brain I’m thinking of all the CMS I’ve ever touched, Joomla, Drupal, Textpattern, WordPress, OpenCart, I mean it’s a long list. I’ve touched every-single-CMS-Shopping-Cart known to man. So he opens his browser and I say, let’s start with the shopping cart please. He shows me the MA Webcenters and I go straight into shock as I see Magento’s front end Dashboard with a different colored interface but all the same application tabs.

I think to myself, ok, maybe it’s free, but it’s not, it’s $35 a month!

So let’s talk Magento for a bit. There’s three versions of Magento, Magento GO which you pay Magento $50 a month for, Magento Community which is completely free and Magento Enterprise which costs $12,000. None of these licenses allow you to resell the system to my knowledge since “Open Source” usually means free. But I guess Market America said F*ck THis and decided to just do whatever the hell they wanted. This annoys me, their emails annoy me they annoy me. I want Market America to be GONE. I’m hoping eBay will finally be my way to get them to disappear with a large enough lawsuit because this is really embarrassing to see my friends being taken advantage of and Market America reselling something in a pyramid scheme that is making them money selling open source software (because my friend is paying for this)!

why people suck. well, first off it’s hard to understand politics unless you enjoy reading between lines of lies. then there’s media and how obsessed people are by it, but worse of all is money and how much people want, but dont do anything for it or worse do stupid shit stupidly for it. put this all together and when you get into a conversation with a new person this is where you can sense how people start to suck since there really are only two types of people: spartans and suckers. See there’s few spartans, but there’s a lot of suckers. Some suckers manipulate other suckers but they shit in their pants when they see spartans since spartans kick ass and eat suckers as a treat. for the most part spartans are scarce and rarely meet or even want to hang with suckers unless they think a sucker may have the ability to be a spartan, but when a sucker fails the spartan must kill the sucker hence why you generally don’t find spartans ‘hanging out’. the worst type is spartan / sucker love affairs. dont even get me started.this is like taking a twinkie and filling it with shit. and hence we get sucker spartans. sucker spartans are generally bored. they’ve accepted suckers and to hang out with them but like cast out gods for mythology they sometimes just want to be their true self, but let’s face it, that’s a pain in the ass to do when there’s a bunch of suckers just looking at you oddly and spartans know it’s not awesome to just thrash them or even attempt an intelligent conversation since they’re suckers.
